PR Account Manager

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and bright individual to join our team with a can-do and self-starter attitude. Experience in an agency, ideally one and a half to two years’ experience, will be beneficial with an enthusiasm for PR and digital communications.
Main responsibilities
  • Client relationships: : Manage the day-to-day implementation of multiple client accounts, developing client relationships and playing a key role in client meetings.
  • Media relations: : Meet and build relationship with key journalists, stay across current trends, build media relationships through networking events.
  • Media outreach: : You will be tasked with pitching content ideas and press releases to journalists and selling in stories on behalf of our clients. Responsible in leading media sell ins with team support to deliver against KPIs.
  • Content creation: : Drafting articles, blog articles, press releases, op-eds, LinkedIn posts.
  • Creative ideation: : Bringing new ideas and examples to creative brainstorms and engaging the teams across markets.
  • Social media management: : Copywriting and proofreading, community management, social media platforms set-up and management.
  • Influencer relations: : Map influencers, build and manage relationships, co-create content
  • Reporting: : Monitoring and reporting of activity.
  • New Business: : Actively contribute to and be part of new business pitches.

Your profile
  • Genuine, confident and committed
  • Passion for PR digital communications
  • Previous agency experience would be preferable
  • Strong communicator with excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines, strong organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, organisational and networking skills: autonomous, mature judgment, can-do attitude, problem-solver, teamwork skill and diplomacy in handling various matters

Things you need to know

THE ROLE

You will be an inquisitive and curious individual who is always looking to unearth the latest trends or case studies and have a solid understanding of pitching to media, across business, tech, media, and lifestyle media. You will have strong relationships with media in these sectors and be comfortable with leading on sell-ins to get the best possible results for clients. As a PR Account Manager, you will be responsible for implementing media outreach, being on top of new titles and publications and having a knowledge of key trends across certain industries.

You will work closely with the Head of Media in the UK and Account Director and will have daily access to senior business leaders across the agency both in the UK and abroad to gain deeper knowledge on project management across large international accounts.

Working as part of a fast-paced team and with some exciting clients, you should be able to manage day to day deadlines and have great time management as well as manage junior staff.

You should also have strong writing skills and can write long form content from bylines to press releases as well as developing social media content. In addition, you should have experience in being part of client calls and managing day-to-day client communications.

JOB TYPE

• Contract type: Permanent – Full-time
• Location: London, UK (Shoreditch), including business travels to headquarters in Paris (fully compensated) and Berlin office. Currently split homeworking/office.
• Languages: English native, speaking French or German is a bonus.
